ABOUT SC WELLNESS TECHNIQUE
SC Wellness Technique is a holistic pelvic floor physical therapy practice for women during preconception, pregnancy and postpartum that seeks to empower clients to feel prepared for pregnancy and delivery and confident in their recovery after childbirth. We believe that by integrating pelvic-floor-appropriate Pilates, yoga and functional corrective exercise techniques into a custom pelvic floor physical therapy plan you will be able to heal and reconnect with your body. By approaching your care holistically, SC Wellness Technique can help you safely return to the activities you love and thrive in your postpartum recovery.
Founded in 2020 by Stephanie Cleary, SC Wellness Technique gives excellent care to its clients through a
holistic approach to wellness for prenatal and postpartum clients.
After graduating from Elon University with a degree in Exercise Sport Science, Stephanie attended Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professionals, a top 10 physical therapy graduate program where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Stephanie has worked at some of the most prestigious healthcare institutions in the area, including Massachusetts General Hospital, MGH Institute of Health Professions, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, and a pelvic floor physical therapy private practice. Stephanie is a licensed, board-certified physical therapist with multiple certifications through Herman and Wallace in pelvic floor physical therapy, and a certified Pilates, Barre, and yoga instructor.
Stephanie’s dedication to changing postpartum care started when she had her son. After her 6-week clearance check-up, Stephanie experienced a disconnect with her body and a lack of healing that she knew pelvic floor physical therapy could address. With her first-hand postpartum experience, Stephanie decided that every postpartum mom needed to work with a pelvic floor therapist to truly heal and reconnect with their bodies. This motivated her to start SC Wellness Technique. With SC Wellness Technique she hopes to address the needs of women in her area. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband, Rob, and their two sons, Ben and Ryan.
